Author Publishing Services Agreement
Publisher & Author Terms
This Author Publishing Services Agreement ("Agreement") is made and entered into by and between Walker Readers Publishing, LLC, a limited liability company, ("Publisher"), and the Author. The Publisher and Author may each be referred to herein as a "Party" and collectively as the "Parties."
1. Purpose
The purpose of this Agreement is to outline the publishing services that the Publisher will provide to the Author for the Author's book(s) ("Work") and the terms under which those services will be provided.
2. Author Rights & Royalties
2.1 Author retains 100% of all rights to their Work, including but not limited to copyright, publication rights, distribution rights, and all subsidiary rights.
2.2 Author shall receive 100% of all royalties and profits earned from the sale or distribution of their Work. Publisher does not take any percentage of royalties or profits.
3. Publisher Services — Schedule A
Publisher agrees to provide the professional publishing services listed below, performed in a professional and timely manner with the Author kept informed of progress.

Manuscript Evaluation
Initial review and feedback on manuscript structure, content, and market potential.
Copy Editing
Line-by-line edit for grammar, punctuation, clarity, and consistency.
Proofreading
Final review to correct typographical and minor formatting errors.
Formatting
Author must send a descriptive message of what they want for the cover to illustrate. Publisher will create a custom cover design based on the author's vision and specifications.
ISBN Registration
Guidance in obtaining ISBN(s) for print and/or eBook.
Publishing Assistance
Assistance with uploading and publishing across our distribution channels.
4. Fees & Payment
4.1 Author agrees to pay the total publishing services fee to Publisher as outlined below.
4.2 Payment Terms: A non-refundable deposit of 50% is due upon signing this Agreement. The remaining balance is due upon completion of all services listed in Schedule A.
4.3 All fees are non-refundable once work has commenced.

5. Author Responsibilities
5.1 Author agrees to provide all necessary materials, content, and information in a timely manner.
5.2 Author is responsible for ensuring that all content provided is original and does not infringe on any third-party rights.
6. Term & Termination
6.1 This Agreement begins on the date first written above and continues until all services are completed.
6.2 Either Party may terminate this Agreement for material breach by the other Party if not cured within 15 days of written notice.
